My Actifit RC: Feb 11th 23 - I Am Alive Challenge - On a sightseeing tour in Giugliano - IAAC #277

A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.

The first photo of the day is very important for me because it triggers in me the mechanisms that prepare me psychologically to face the World. And today I let you imagine the excitement of watching the blue of the sky radiate over our heads on the ground this morning.

Today Gaetano has accompanied me in one of my photographic incursions in the church of the city where he lives or the Sanctuary of the Annunciation of Giugliano in Campania. Here the Madonna della Pace or della Pietà is celebrated. The outside of the church is very beautiful and characteristic.

The bell tower of the church is elegant and has been erected half the sanctuary on the left and a building used as a hospital designed by an architect of great fame.

Very beautiful bas-reliefs drawn on the wooden facades of the entrance doors of the church that show scenes of fine workmanship.

The painful notes of the church are revealed as soon as you enter. A huge and bulky scaffold violent the wonderful Baroque appearance mixed with the rococo of this beautiful architectural work of the 16th century.

It seems that the iron hammock has been present for almost 20 years due to the interruption of renovations suspended due to the high cost of maintenance of the interior of the church.

At this point I ask myself: "The scaffold, why not remove it?" This is surely a mystery equal to those who have studied the church for millennia.

The ecclesiastical building designed in the classic Neapolitan Baroque style is rich in statues and paintings frescoed between the 15th and 18th centuries. It is a very beautiful church sin that must bear the presence of a monument to neglect, degradation and starvation to the local artistic heritage.

After our inspection of the beautiful church we continued our day in the park. Spending time on a cultural visit not only enriched my son from an educational point of view, but also allowed him to find many friends to play in the town villa.

And here we are celebrating our #iamalivechallenge 277 ready for another #alive day in the midst of nature, the sun and fun all immersed in the oxygenated air of public greenery.

While Gaetano was playing I dedicated myself to natural photography and bee watching at least until this bee did not rise threatening in flight towards me. He couldn’t have known I was a beehive worker, too.

The green of the park particularly bright evening and die probably did not suffer in the least from the frost of this day. The abundant rains have rightly allowed nature to keep itself very alive.

On the way back we took this last photo in the park in the middle of the flying pigeons that I had not noticed being so numerous.
