Wire mesh - Entry contest #395 [ENG-ESP]

I went for a walk in a large park here in my city and was surprised to see a shadow forming on the cement floor, creating a perfect pattern of lines and figures that captured my attention. Sunlight passes through the wire mesh with great precision and projects an orderly grid onto the ground, as if the ground were dressed in geometry in complete solitude. Each space between the wires precisely lets light in, creating a contrast between the intense light and the soft shadows. This shadow not only reflects the structure of the mesh, but also the calm of the surroundings and the strong midday sun. On the cement, the dark lines seem to move slowly with the passing of the day, and a small iguana was resting there, giving a unique touch to the landscape, bringing balance and serenity. In its simplicity, it shows how light can transform something mundane into an image full of harmony and detail.

Salí de paseo a un gran parque de aquí de mi ciudad y me lleve la sorpresa de ver una sombra que se forma en el piso de cemento y crea un patrón perfecto de líneas y figuras que capturaron mi atención. La luz del sol atraviesa la malla metálica con una gran precisión y proyecta sobre el suelo una cuadrícula ordenada, como si el suelo se vistiera de geometría en plena soledad. Cada espacio entre los alambres deja pasar la claridad con precisión, dibujando un contraste entre la luz intensa y la penumbra suave. Esa sombra no solo refleja la estructura del enrejado, sino también la calma del entorno y ese sol tan fuerte en horas del mediodía. Sobre el cemento, las líneas oscuras parecen moverse lentamente con el paso del día y allí descansaba una pequeña iguana, para así darle un toque único al paisaje, aportando equilibrio y serenidad. En su sencillez, muestra cómo la luz puede transformar algo cotidiano en una imagen llena de armonía y detalle.
