The kind of temptation
First of all, let me rephrase the fact why I am practicing abstaining during lent. I didn't do it for religion, but I see it as a personal challenge, remembering how and why do I stopped smoking.
Throw back 3 years ago, lent is just another 40 days before Easter Sunday, where my catholic wife will be abstaining from land base animal meat. Whereas myself, as a supportive husband I will do the same.
As everyone knows, the pandemic sets in and cuts off all my cigarette supplies. If I haven't told you the story of the smoking toilet roll event, that's how bad my addiction was when I ran out of cigarettes. By Easter Sunday, despite the fact that we're still in lockdown, the online Easter Sunday mass brought a whole new meaning to me. I was officially off from smoking for a month during that time.
I know for a fact that I can have a relapse, since it's not the first time I'm trying to quit. Which is why from time to time you'll see me write about how I stopped smoking, in order to remind myself how much harm smoking has done to my health and financially how much I've burnt.
Let's get down with the pictures. The car broke again after I made an appointment to the inspection. She is probably aware that I'm trying to sign the paper and divorce her. Sorry my silver lady, I can't keep you any longer or you'll suffer even more when I start driving for a living career.
I've packed fried noodles for the gang, and in turn they pack a huge stack of roasted pork for me 🤣 dude, it's good Friday and I have 2 more days to Easter. It's a real challenge and struggle, just like the way how I see another smoker smoking in front of me 😟
Last but not least, holy Thursday mass I had to give it a miss, as the current job still tied me down with a tremendous amount of useless reports. Despite the fact that I can't be bothered, I still sit in the office and complete the teletubbies report to feed the clowns. The last picture was taken by the girl whilst she's attending the holy Thursday mass. And I still have one more day to go.

I had to laugh at this a bit even though I truly feel sorry for you.
See if you can stay off those ciggies buddy. I know it is tough but soon you'll find that you are very proud of yourself for kicking one of the toughest habits to quit in existence.
Thanks buddy. Stopped for a full 3 years since March 27. Thanks to covid 🤣
Yay! 🤗

It is difficult to give up a vice, I know a lady, her only vice is two coffees in the morning, imagine, just that, and she has not been able to stop drinking the coffee, no matter what the doctors say :) well, you live only once, so it seems good to me that he does it, in relation to the rules of religion, those are rules, I think that the important thing is to believe in GOD, but I return to the same thing, respectable
Couldn't agree more. In my case, it's about discipline.
