My journey to obtain a cab driver's license

I think I'm officially in a no flying fart given mood now in terms of work. There's absolutely no more passion left, and all the management care is numbers. I felt like I'm in a similar but totally opposite direction looking for my bonus and getting ready to throw in a resignation and be done with it.

I didn't really wait for the approval after submitting my leave application, and I'm here today at the training center sitting in for a full day training, as in how to become a cab driver 🤣 I mean, before Uber quits Malaysia, I did thought of getting a license to be an Uber driver, but I was focusing so much in the transition of my current job, totally omitted the golden opportunity in becoming my own boss.

Well, what's wrong with driving Uber? It's a labor intensive business, it is a self employment, it is involved with professional training. All these have been covered in the whole day training. Other than personal morale, the training is also involved with much insurance and road risks in preparing future drivers to anticipate. Fortunately, I have plenty of knowledge in this field.

Looking around my surroundings, there's about 50 people attending the training. All of these will be my potential competitor in the future. For the first time in my life, I'm sitting in a lecture session where I'm not checking out for chicks. It's about my future, it's about my job career, it's about bringing food to the table.

Fortunately, the lecturer is a young punk speaking quite lively. Otherwise, I believe half the class will fall asleep. There's enough interaction and I believe most if not all the participants learned a thing or two. Apologize I don't have much photographs to share with you as the training materials are mostly copyrighted.

A schedule has been made for the test. The only examination date is the 20th of April. To some people, that's a very near date, to me it's a pain. Who wants more than 2 weeks to wait? I'd rather take the test now whilst everything is fresh. But hey, that's the only date, otherwise it will be in May.
