Let's take a chill pill

I know I've been complaining too much over the past few weeks. I'm guessing there's nothing much I can do now, except to anticipate more harsh blame. Whilst my Muslims friends were taking off early, I took the time and had a rest in front of the security camera.

I remember my buddy told me he saw my tire wear was uneven, so I sent the car for a quick inspection, and indeed the front wheels wear are quite severe on the outer circumference. Soon as the mechanic jacked up the car to flip the wheels, I saw the front damper was quite oily. This is clearly the sign of damage to the damper. By the look of it, it's not too severe.

Frankly, with the current restless situation at the job, I really can't afford to spend anymore extra. I called my tire guy and he asked me to wipe it dry first, and observe. If the oil leak becomes severe, then we decide whether to get the shocks changed.

I spent another 36 bucks on getting a Grab ride with junior going to church. That's less than an hour ride, and I did the rough calculation if I do the same for 10 fair a day, I could have easily earn 360. That may not be the whole sum I earn, part of them need to save up for maintenance, gas, and possibly personal medical insurance expenses. Let's be realistic, if I get out of my job, my whole family has absolutely no medical coverage.

Last but not least, I was going to make a quick 9:16 wide screen capture of the night drive view. Clearly, my new phone couldn't handle night view, on top of that the vehicle is constantly moving. This phone despite has a 50mpx sensor reading, but compare to my old 64mpx quad lens, their performances are wide apart. No matter how hard I try to stabilize the new phone, it just won't capture a nice night drive view.

I hope you haven't been recorded on the camera in the office hahaha, it's certainly an ideal position to rest, but not in that place hahaha, well, I read that there aren't too many people, but keep the camera in mind, I hope you are insured , since if they see this on camera you could have problems haaaaaaaa.
Hey , I 'm kidding , you are a good man and a good person , good things happen to good people , I hope your car fix does not leave you embezzled , having a car is the same as having a very , very demanding girlfriend , I say it for my girlfriend KIA

Thanks buddy. I've spent a lot on car repair these few months. Can't afford to do that anymore. Also, am thinking to get a new car and start driving for a living.

Well, I can understand the lure of having medical coverage for the family and not wanting to walk away from that. On the other hand, it's quite obvious you're unhappy with your current working conditions, and that's also not healthy for Dave. I think even though you may potentially earn a little less and have less benefits when strike out on your own, I feel in time you will eventually earn more and be happier than you were at your current job.

I used to be a pedicab driver for a few years in Colorado when I had younger knees, and I made so many connections with people doing this job. I received so many job offers from my passengers, and eventually took several part-time jobs because of these connections I made while doing a transport job. I encourage you to give driving a go brother, and if you don't do it you'll always wonder what might've been.

You read my mind. I've signed up for the lesson on Monday. However, I haven't gotten the medical examination yet. Let's hope for a smooth sail. Also, am considering cars.

36k I get a 1.0 litre 3 pod, fuel consumption at 4.7l/100km

43k I get a 1.3 litre 4 banger, fuel consumption at 4.5l/100km

I already know the pros and cons between them. Having a 4 banger is much comfortable ride and fuel saving. But the 3 pod isn't that much behind since the price is 7k apart. For that 0.2lit difference every 100km, it will take a decade to catch up the difference considering Malaysian gas price at 50 US¢ a litre 🤣

What about a small diesel engine? In the USA I have a 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit that gets 35 km/l, and it was only $2,000 USD to buy. I do think though the taxi apps require you have to have a fairly new car, so I don't think an old diesel would work or be appealing to customers. I am already envisioning you as a driver, hope it works and you make many social connections that lead to other things you'd never imagined yourself doing.

In Malaysia, diesel is non-subsidized, therefore the price is almost doubled of gasoline. Also, diesel displacement is usually bigger, and the road tax for anything above 2.0 can be outrageous. Definitely out of scope.

And yes, the vehicle needed to be 9 years and younger to be eligible to apply as e-hailing service.
