Night at the museum - Genting Skyworld Theme Park
The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH). simply known as Museum of Natural History is a large museum in New York City in America. It is located next to Central Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This museum has the particularity of having its exhibits that come back to life every night due to the presence of a Tablet of Ahkmenrah. It is the first museum that Larry decides to work at and where most of his museum friends live.
SOS
Ok. This is not it. I mean, we're 15000km from new York, and there's no direct flight from where we are to the states. Considering the trouble of catching at least 2 planes and total of 27 hours of flying, we can't possibly be spending 3 days of our life just for a museum visit do we? Fear not! Genting got your back. You don't get to visit the actual museum, but Genting bring you the experience at 1865m altitude for a reasonable fee!
You don't get a 30ft giant T-rex skeleton, but we've got a simplified version at smaller scale, still taller than any human in the room, I'd say it's equally as impressive since I haven't seen the original.
Nope the dum-dum didn't speak to me. This thing brings back a ton of memory of chewing gum incident, which I'm not going to cover in this story.
I tried my best to capture as much picture as possible, but due to the heavy human traffic and low light, provided my phone camera is less competent, some of these picture become blur. Hopefully you will still enjoy it.
I find it very impressive, and the article at the notice board being funny too. It really bring us into the movie set as these probe is properly prepared.
The actual location is not really that big. However, by putting up barriers and fence to form a maze, it actually bring us circulating the building makes it fun and make the entire event packed with excitement.
The guard post that is so messy, totally remind me of my own work desk. It's totally fun to see the surveillance camera "working" as those are prerecorded footage.
The museum pantry look somewhat "localized" and I don't remember the movie has a set involved in the pantry. Do they really have a scene? I need to dig up my box of porn DVD and rewatch the movie again.
And the rest area, doesn't look like a security room me think. It does looks like an emergency room of mining grid 🤣 especially that huge industrial stand fan. Totally out of scope yo.
Wall picture of historical characters which I'm too busy taking care of the kids, didn't manage to read the description.
These random boxes are the ones that used to store the museum artifacts for transport. Some of them still have DHL stickers stuck at the back.
Kids born after the 2010 can't really put their minds together why tablet is not a tablet. This is actually the exit of the museum. Before this, we're in a video room playing life size shooting game in a tram. Super excited and fun. Regret I couldn't make video record, or I can show you how much fun we had there.
And they have professional photographer at the exit. Best of all, it will be automatically send to your app. Not cheap' cheap for locales, but I'm sure it worth the juice if you're spending USD.

Museums are the best place to enjoy with family (according to me). I would love to see the dinosaur bone even if it is not the real one, it is still something we could enjoy. I thought I was there for a second.
Hey Srey-Yuu, this is not a real museum. It's the mock up version of the movie set. Have you watch that movie The Night At The Museum?
Rarely do I see the family in pics because you are always the photographer, nice pic at the end. I wasn't even aware an entire attraction was based on this movie (which I have seen). I like Ben Stiller a lot, and if I remember correctly my kids have seen this movie too. Did you apply for the nighttime guard job available? I know you are currently open to new offers and career paths 😉.
He's not my number 1, but I don't have a number 1 because my number 1 is a 2, Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler 🤣 Ben is following after the duo, which also occasionally cameo in their shit. Absolutely love them.
