Genting Skyworld Outdoor Theme Park

Genting is pretty much the only place that is legal to gamble since this is the only business facility that own a casino license in land. However, off shore is a different story, like going for a cruise ship tour that will cost you an arm or leg.

Considering not everyone is legal age to go into casino, therefore Genting is also known for its theme park. On last December they launched their in door themepark. This time around, we're going for a tour at the out door theme park. Be sure to take the measurement before you purchase any rides ticket, or you're gonna be ended up in huge disappointment.

Also, please check the time. It's not fixed as some of the day they need to perform maintenance for their machines to ensure safety. We actually spent more time waiting than actually having fun at the theme park, as we thought we can try our luck crashing in earlier.

If you have a good selfie camera, good for you. Even if you don't have one, as long your phone is connected to the Skyworld network, you can look for one of their camera staff, you'll be sure to take some professional photographs and had them sent directly to your phone. I have one, will be posted at the final photo for this post.

As soon as we walked passed the entrance, there's this giant fountain right before our eyes. There's several properly dressed up performer there taking pictures with patron. Other than sexy, they're super professional and I totally respect them having wear such sexy and tight performing suit at such low temperature, they maintain a bright smile all time for the customers. I know it's piece of cake comparing to winter, but still, you won't wear a swim suit standing at the open during autumn right?

The outdoor theme park is pretty darn huge. Highly recommend you to take a copy of the site map so you can follow each check point, that way you won't miss any important attraction.

Whilst the cold temperature is not really that cold, but considering this is a tropical country, you can expect tropical rain sudden down pour out of no reason. Combine with such high altitude and low temperature, if you manage to wet your cloth, it's not going to be fun, especially with young children around.

Some of these attraction is still work in progress, however stick to the map and follow the legend, go through each check point so you make your money worthwhile.

So far, night at the museum being my all time favourite, we actually visited it twice due to the 3D arcade ride, super rad! The second time we went in, totally nailed it since we know where the monkeys jumping out from.

Right opposite of the museum is anothe Harry Ramsden fish and chip kiosk. It's not my practice to eat in the theme park, so I don't waste time looking for toilet whilst supposed to make use of the entire ticket playing and visiting all the tourists attractions. I'm not stopping you, as longul you bring enough cash, every couple of yards away you'll find another food kiosk to cure your crave.

Had I know my blood test result earlier, I wouldn't have jumping on that space exploration. Since the kids and home minister wanted an adrenaline rush, no way I'm staying back on the ground. In case if anything happen, I don't wanna be alone standing here witness everything helplessly 🤣 now that I know I have some issue in me, it's highly likely I'm the one gonna need the stretcher after being extract from the spaceship.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I survived the ride by jamming my head in between the safety bars. Since I let loose of myself, there's no blood rush nor adrenaline going on. The only feeling I had was the food in my stomach sloshing 🤣 off we continue our journey looking for the next excitement.

This robot town is supposed to be one of my favourite. When I was a young kid, I always have the imagination of taking a space flight with Ripley(Sigourney Weaver in Alien), carrying M-41A and shoot some xenomorph together.

As soon as I seen the "shuttle craft" that somewhat resemble an anema, I decided this shit is not for me 😂 Ripley you can take the gun and kill as much alien as you want. I won't survive the rough ride to the nearby moon.

Seeing the weapon container box, and the fuel container with explosive warning sticker, I suddenly got the urge to take out a nerf gun, roll a few times and start shooting.

Too bad, the boy not tall enough to enroll into the army camp training. Perhaps next year will be better for him since he's growing taller.

Before the boh started whining about the unfair treatment for young recruits, we left the Andromeda Base for good.

Ice age - Twentieth century fox

This part of the post particularly dedicated for ice age because this is actually a big deal for the Genting group. initially before they shut down the entire theme park and renovate, 20th century fox is one of the main selling point of the entire idea, building a full experience of ice age.

There's a pirate ship ride(which I'm not allowed to bring my phone), and an indoor arcade ride(which I'm not allowed to film), a huge merchant outlet(unable to post their product due to copyright), and last but not least a restaurant(which I'm gonna cover later).

The A Corn Adventure has height limitation. Be sure to bring your kids over to measure their height first.

Other than height, this ride is one of the most popular ride at the theme park. Highly recommend you to make a booking in advance, rather than spending 45 minutes in line waiting for a ride. Make use of the time to explore other attraction will be wiser.

Here's the entrance for the pirate ship ride. It's just another pirate ship ride that has a different theme, and this one pilot by Sid, so I can only describe it as - nauseas. Oh one more thing, wear a rain coat. They do splash you to make this experience somewhat unique.

One last paragraph for the ice age A Corn restaurant, it's nothing more than a food court style restaurant with different kind of local and western fusion food. Nope, non of them are directly related to the cartoon, but they do name them after some characters, imagine if you have to eat Ally Meatball.

Rating

The above picture taken when we arrived at the theme park. And the one below, that's after all the crazy rides. I think my hair gave a pretty radical justification to rate the experience. Once again, despite the price tag for the rides are in ringgit Malaysia, but it's in exchanged with the US dollar

That was a wonderful trip and tour inside the beautiful theme park of Genting Skyworld. Yeah, it was pretty big and every site is worth capturing. I'm sure you and your family enjoyed your time there. The fog is quite thick as well. !PIZZA

Yes indeed. It's cold due to the location situated at high altitude. Be sure to visit this place when you have a chance.

The place is pretty awesome. It is no doubt one of the coolest place in this country since it's heavily decorated for 20th century fox theme. Not only that, they even hire bunch of Caucasians that dwarfed us yellow rubber ducks 😂 look at the girls feet, omg! If I crash into any of those girls, chances are me ended up my face hitting their boobs.

WOW, quite an adventure you have there. That place which looks like a spaceship reminded me of Star War. I wish I was there having fun with all those places and take picture of the beautiful ladies and handsome men. I really like their custumes.

Love it bro, the whole family looks like they enjoyed themselves. Wow, a lot of different heights to worry about though but it looks like the little man can ride everything. I haven't been to amusement or theme park in nearly 20 years, it would be great fun to take my family to one in the USA if we ever get the impossible visa. It does seem like quite a chilly place to have outdoor attractions, and I can see from your clothing and the fog that it was a bit nippy.

Well, Genting is the Malaysian version of Steung Karch. The main attraction has always been the two things, casino for most Chinese and theme park for Muslims. And the 4 of us, set us back $120 "entering" the "outdoor" theme park.

Suddenly I felt that if I had a heart attack rising those freak rides, that would seriously make that 100 bucks worthwhile 🤣
