2025 life be like

The official kick off for the lunar new year has began on the 6th day of Chinese new year. I am officially back to work.

I hate to start this post with food, but it is what it is. Few of my team member decided to have breakfast together. Since other restaurant is still off, we went to the premium restaurant Capitol for breakkie.

A cup of milk tea, kaya butter toast, double softboiled egga, there goes RM12. I know it may sounded affordable, but thats like 2 hours wage flipping burgers just for a simple breakfast. Inflation is real! Especially during Chinese new year.

Morning session at the office went unnoticeable as i was laying extremely low, like a low rider. Then i proceed to go off and set an appointment to meet a potential client in the afternoon. Before that, i hit to the neae by Chinese restaueant for a quick lunch, again RM12 it goes. Oh my, another 2 hours flipping burgers.

Food was alright, but the pig skin wasn't properly processed as you can see, there are still pig fur poking out from the pig skin.

And way too much pork fat. If you are trying to get a cardiac condition at early age, this is exactly the kind of food we the tradition Chinese would call it "smooth" 🤣 like butter yo, melt in your mouth. Sorry Muslims.

Appointment ended earlier than expectation, so i head to Starbucks for a quick salted maple oat milk iced shaken espresso. Sorry for the super duper long name. Thats what written on the menu. RM10, an hour plus of burger flippin.

Later i went to the mall and pack food for the home minister and our little prince, whilst prepared red packets for the princess class mates on their return from last day of exam.

I kinda skipped dinner as i had way too much already during the festive season. After i have sent food back home, i proceed to the nearby park for a quick 45 minutes workout.

Over there i met a new friend Marc. He was impressed by my middle aged performance 🤣 we had a little chat, kill about 40 pull ups, some push ups, sit ups, dips, steppingstone lunges and call it a day. Hope to see Marc again and hope to train together with him again.

Won't know if we will meet again. I don't normally workout at this park unless I'm really late reaching home.

Thanks for stopping by. These food are average, and it reflects things are getting expensive by the day in Kuala Lumpur.

In the Philippines, that is " pork humba," meaning the pork is jelly-like or "huyong-huyong," and it's delicious. I am sorry, but we love humba even though it's fatty.
Peace.

Btw, I like the milk tea.
