San Giorgio Carnival 2026 - Italy

Another week of Carnival and another round of allegorical float parades, this time I went to San Giorgio delle Pertiche. Compared to Camposampiero, it was a bigger event, livelier, with more floats and more people along the streets, so much so that the organizers started making people park along the streets, closing some lanes.

The floats were as beautiful as those from the previous week, and since they travel between the various events, sometimes you might see them more than once. For one of these floats, the representative explained how they had started building it in July 2025 to finish just a few weeks before the parade, which clearly shows the work and creativity behind each of them.

There were extra performances: groups from preschools with moms and children dancing enthusiastically and sports associations showing small choreographies. There was the presence of a regional radio station, broadcasting live from the parade, and occasionally throwing gadgets into the crowd such as balls.

The atmosphere was festive but relaxed: families, children in costumes, confetti everywhere. I took some photos while the floats passed by, these are also a form of art. In the end, we spent the whole afternoon there, enjoying the parade, the performances, and the confetti throws. We will come back again next year.

HIVE coin is currently at a critically low liquidity. It is strongly suggested to withdraw your funds while you still can.
I hope I'll have the occasion to see one live. We don't have them here, but it looks like a pretty colorful event, good to take some photos.
You just need to do a trip here in February 😄 there are many, I'm going on the next one the 22th if it doesn't rain
It's nice cause there aren't just kids, but also elders and adults alone
a very lively carnival, it would have been really fun if I were there :)
Maybe one day you will see it 😄
wow! every float is beautiful, everyone made an effort and thought about the design. it's fun to see a parade like this hehe
I was surprised hearing each one can take more than 6 months to build
