Walking around the Paint Pots
Here we are walking around the paint pots area. The bright colours are very pleasing for me as a photographer to look upon. I’m thinking to myself that all this orangish brown terrain will make for some interesting and unique photos to publish on my Hive blog. Some have told me that the first photo looks like natural green tea, kinda makes me want to sample a bit lol. Photos taken inside Kootenay National Park, British Columbia.

It does look a little like green tea, now that you mention it. But.... I don't think I'd want to try.
Yeah, I’ll take a pass myself.

The extension of those paint pots look impressive.... I remember seen some streams here, whose waters are rich in iron and the sediments take on a color similar to this. Here, in rural areas, some people use this material to paint the houses they build in the mountains... Thank you very much for these photos and for taking us through that place, friend.

You know, for once, the monomad doesn't do these shots justice! If I didn't read the text description, I might think you put these through a colour filter.
Definitely aptly named Paint Pots!
Agreed, this is a perfect example of the weakness of black & white. Mountains and black & white go so much better together.
