Vancouver Island - Day 1

DSC09078.jpeg

Here on the first day, checking out the neighborhood near our hotel, and officially the tide is out! Being more or less a landlubber, getting to the ocean is quite a novelty for us rednecks. What a wonderful feeling to be near this immense body of water. I could really get used to this, and picture myself retiring here someday perhaps…but back to reality. The weather was spectacular so far, I think I’ll walk around for a little while longer, then head back to the hotel. Thanks for stopping by.

That three wooden poles... It would be interesting if they had any real purpose or just put there for the sake of it

If I had to give a title to these pictures would be calmness, I would take a chair and sit there relaxing

Maybe those poles are there to tie boats to?
