Valley Hike #3

DSC00109.jpeg

A few clicks here from my final hike, here at Panorama ski resort area and golf course. Valley hike number three was the shortest of the bunch. By this time of day it was starting to get quite hot (it was around 3:30pm), ideally hiking in the morning generally makes the most sense, as it is cooler. Unfortunately I am not an early riser type, and don’t typically get up before 8am. Being an avid hiker and all, I really ought to work on getting up earlier right?! Thanks for stopping by.

With the sun, the cement heats up, so it's rougher to do a hike there, you'd need some trees on your head for some shadow

More trees are always welcome!

You were worried for no reason @daveks This shot is absolutely breathtaking That winding road cutting through the lush green grass flanked by those massive towering pine trees looks incredibly peaceful Even if it was the shortest hike of the bunch you captured the essence and serenity of the Panorama ski resort area perfectly Thanks for sharing the final part of your valley hike series it’s a wonderful end to the journey 🌲🛣️📸✨

Yes, maybe I do worry too much. All in all it was an enjoyable day in the mountains, thanks for stopping by.

A walk in late afternoon always makes me think a good hat is more useful than many expensive hiking things

I really like that third picture today, they are all great though. I love scenes with mountains and pines as you well know! Early morning really is the best time to hit the trails especially in the summer or the when you're in the desert. I'm an early riser myself, and old habit I've never been able to break. I'm usually awake by five in the morning, it's just the way my body works! lol

When do you head out on your trip?

I really ought to practice getting up earlier, only makes sense as I am a hiker! Not sure about 5am, but maybe 6 or 7am..
