Turquoise — Green

Check out them colours! And if you look closely, there is still a bit of surface ice yet to melt. Do you think the water is cold lol? Just beyond the tree line is Rundle mountain, and to the right, the town of Banff nestled in the Bow valley. One of my favourite things about the Canadian Rockies lakes and ponds, are the vividly coloured lake waters. Never get tired of that colourful glory. They will put a smile on your face every time. These photos were captured at Cascade Ponds, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Thanks for stopping by.

Is that a pond or a lake.

Despite the water looking greenish it is still so clear!!

Well a tiny lake, but closer to a large pond I suppose.

Wow that colors reminds the sea rather than lakes... The second picture is inviting to lay there and then go for a swim

Excellent shots man, turquoise is my favorite color and I love to see the water in this color. Is it warm enough for swimming?

Sweet shots, the water looks unreal. From after off, it seems like and additional color was adding to the lake as in the first picture. Amazing to see the ice as well.

The bright sun does bring out the vivid colours more. I guess it is sort of an illusion.

That really is a beautiful color in the water. Something in the rock under the glacier must give it that nice hue. I love that color, it awesome. Up close to that mountain you can see just how much weathering it's undergone, what a nice place to visit! Today the colors win again my friend!

It is that rock powder that gives the water that beautiful look, and the sunnier it is, the prettier the hue. Thanks as always.

It is colour/black and white specifically. That being said, I don't always post there myself. Reason being, photography lovers has a far wider reach.
