Travel Day

DSC00120.jpeg

Thought I’d try something a little different on a monday night. Here is a collection of random photos taken last year to show you. Today was a long day of travel for myself, as I have made my way to the East Kootenay area of British Columbia. Usually when I travel I like to rent a car instead of taking my own wheels. This way I save the wear and tear on my own, and get a chance to drive a new vehicle. Today it was a hybrid Camry. First time ever driving a hybrid! Thanks for stopping by.

I've never rented a car, not sure how much convenient it is, I guess one needs to do some calculations... And I don't like modern cars lol, too many bip bip

I admit, it does take a bit of an effort to familiarize oneself with the gadgetry of a new vehicle.

I love the haybales with the mountains behind. Beautiful country for sure. Smart to save wear and tear on your own vehicle.

Thanks, makes sense to me, about $200 for the week, and driving a new car.

I do hope you are enjoying your vacation so far! Have you arrived at your destination yet?

Those are some beautiful pictures, I love the boulder in front of the turquoise river, very pretty! The the empty fields with the bails of hay, nice! And you can't go wrong with that last vista in the pine trees, I love pine forests as you know!

Have a safe trip and I hope you're having some great adventures!

Just finished our first "warm up" hike in the local community forest. Tomorrow going bigger with something more challenging. So far, so good, how about yourself, any hikes?
