Trailhead ~ Crandell Lake

DSC09839.jpeg

After a very scenic and beautiful drive up to the trailhead, I exited the vehicle to enjoy the panoramic views in front of me! Like I’ve said before, half the fun is in the journey itself. As you can see, other hikers had the same idea as me, to check out the Crandell lake hike. Weather was nearly perfect, if anything it was a smidgen warm out, around 25°C give or take (and for my American friends, that is about 77°F). Skies were a misty blue, but not a deep blue — good enough. Round trip the hike is about 4.5 km, with minimal elevation gain. Let’s go! Thanks for stopping by.

Can't blame other people for going there, 25° absolutely perfect for a hike and trip there! Good views

It was an easy, fun experience. Would do it again.

The road is so vast, would be impossible for cars or trucks to jam into themselves since the lanes are so huge. Very colourful

Plenty of room on either side, and no semi trucks on this road.

That really is gorgeous in the color shots where you can see all the new pine trees growing to very slowly replace those that have burned. It's a shame they grow so slowly, but it makes for a beautiful scene.

Glad to hear the weather was perfect for a day at the lake. Maybe not in the lake, but for a hike around it! I bet you're excited to have the warm weather back and being able to get out on the weekends. Any big plans for this one?

Was going to visit Banff, but a few things popped up. Next Big trip will be to British Columbia in June, probably. Thanks for dropping by.
