Trail to Rowe Lakes

One thing that really stood out for me on this hike was the pristine beauty of the trail itself. The reddish tint of the soil made it gorgeous to trek on. You know when they say that “It’s not the designation, it”s the journey”, on this hike it was bang on (except for a little surprise I’ll share later). What a beauty of a day it was; the goal was only to complete one hike, and not two like the previous day (I think I got a little too ambitious). Enjoy one hike, take it slowly, and enjoy every second along the way. Thanks for stopping by.

The view on the hike in the first image is great, there's not the forest covering everything but you see well enough the mountain in front

Even without the forest covering, it is still magical.

That's a very beautiful topography. I hear rumours that there are hikers ago prefer terrains like this, so basically this looks a bit scary as well, especially since it looks like the edge of the trail looks quite steep, in the first picture I mean.

I agree with with you that it is not about the destination but the experience. You would really enjoy and made the moment more memorable with how you enjoy it.

Yes, the journey was magical, and the destination was also pretty great.

That is a beautiful trail, one you are glad to have your trekking poles with you for sure. I really like that ridgeline in the distance, what a nice hike through the wilderness. You did mention a surprise in there, hopefully not the kind with sharp fangs and a rattle for a tail! Or a large bear... Either way not fun coming across either of them!

What a challenging hike, I hope the second was a lot less demanding and relaxing. With the elevation gain on this one you must have been worn out by the time you made the hike back down!

That third monochrome picture with the tall dead trees is great, so much detail that is brought out that you miss completely in the color pictures. Nicely done! June is coming up fast, you'll soon be out on your next big adventure. I bet your getting excited!

Yes, getting excited! Also trying to determine what to do in July, something without breaking the bank. Everytime I check out airline flights, it seems the price keeps going up. How about yourself?

Speechless!... Your way of composing is breathtaking!... And it's even more impressive because you do it with such complex landscapes!... I'm sending applause!
