Trail Photo Ops

DSC09948.jpeg

A few more photo ops from the trail to Rowe Lakes. Surprisingly this trail doubled as a horse trail as well, and sure enough, a group of trail riders came down right past me. Then I thought, maybe I ought to grab a few pics of the horses? But in the rush that I was in to grab my camera, I was only able to get one “out of focus” pic. I’ll post it here anyways, something is better than nothing I suppose. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh yeah people also here ride horses on those kind of hikes, even just outside the city, near a river

It's fine until you have to work your way around the horse excrement.

Still caught a glimpse of the horse picture in the last colored picture, beautiful steed. It's an iconic hike, I could see the mountainside in the very first picture

Wish I could have been a little more prepared to capture more horse photos.

What gorgeous scenery with all of the healthy pines along there! That looks like a wonderful hike with amazing vistas. Very cool pictures! The only disadvantage of horse trails is watching out for horse manure along the way... But people like to get out on their horses on those trails too, although hiking it would be more heart healthy! lol

Better to come across horses than running into large brown fuzzy creatures with large teeth and claws! That's why you have to carry good old bear spray!

You got that right! Part of the surprise on this hike was my bear encounter, which I'll get into in a bit in a coming post. Thanks as always for stopping by.

Love those color photo graphs, if you slid down one of those hillsides, it would be Trail photo oops
