Top Tourist Destination - Butchart Gardens
We spent and afternoon at Butchart Gardens here on Vancouver Island. What a place! 55 acres of garden bliss to soak in (or about 22 hectares). A perfect combination of beauty and nature. It’s no wonder this place sees over a million visitors a year. One of Canada’s must visit destinations, or at least British Columbia’s. Glad we were able to finally make it out here. it's located near Verona, is a naturalistic garden covering 600,000 square metres. It has received several international awards, including Most Beautiful Park in Italy (2013), Second Most Beautiful Park in Europe (2015), and the Garden Tourism Award as one of the world's notable gardens (2023)... it has tons and tons of plants and flowers, a big maze you can get inside and try reach the middle, some ancient constructions and the tulip festival when all tulips blooms which is amazing
