Top to Bottom

Today we are back at Hourglass lake, East Kootenay, British Columbia. Starting at the top and working our way to the bottom. Now a clear mountaintop pic like this would be impossible to take with a smartphone camera, this is when a full frame 42MP sensor comes in handy. If you look closely you can see slight “snowslide” trails in the snow! I am glad to finally publish these long awaited images that have been sitting in my camera for several months. Tell me, which of these photos is your favourite? Thanks for stopping by.

Everything looks beautiful, I'm interested in this one. The atmosphere is very calming, a peaceful place to enjoy the beauty of nature, the water is so clear, the branches on the ice surface add a wild and peaceful impression.

If these are pictures of it then it looked even more breathtaking in person. This is definitely worth the wait to share these. You took one for the entire team 😁

Hello friend, they are a great series. Choosing between black and white and color is complex, it depends on what we want to express and personal tastes. My opinion is that the timelessness of black and white has a special aura, I love the second picture.

Thank you. Sometimes it is hard to decide which version is more appealing. Depends on my mood in all honesty.

I prefer the second to the last one. Although it has more detail on the picture because it wasn't zoomed in like the first one. They're all great shots though

Those are amazing pictures! I love all of the details that phones can capture these days, it really is cool. It's fun to see the avalanche areas up there. One thing I can say for sure is you will never see me climbing to the top of the mountain, it looks a little to risky for my taste.

I love the lake picture with the snow, gorgeous picture!
Have some !DUO

These photos were taken with professional photography skills. They are all amazing. The first coloured photo got my attention, and my favorite is the black and white of the third photo.

Thanks for sharing.
