The Road to the Hike

IMG_20240928_123514_Original.jpeg

Sometimes the Road to the Hike can be nearly as fun as the hike itself. More specifically, the scenery from the road on this day was outstanding. Blue skies, autumn colours in full affect, and some fallen leaves. It was truly a great and memorable day. On this day I was travelling solo, and there was a certain peace and tranquillity that goes along with such a trip. It gives one the ability to reflect upon nature and what it means to you. This is what it feels like to be alive! Thanks for stopping by.

I wish I be there to enjoy the beauty directly, instead of through the lens!!

Nice definition, I think for me, the poly works better than the mono in the landscape snaps, but the mono for the fungi on the tree, isn't it weird how the eye and the brain see things and function

The last colored shot is amazing, the bokeh effect and the subject separation. That's a mushroom right?

Yes, a mushroom living on a tree side. An unusual looking thing. Thanks!
