Sunday Stamps & Coins ~ “Red Fox”
Continuing with this series of nocturnal animal stamps, first up we have the 6 cent “Red Fox”, these creatures can be found typically wondering nationwide, not in any one particular region. Probably wouldn’t want to run into him in the nighttime. Second is the “Skunk”. If you ever see one of these, you wanna header in the opposite direction, and fast! Much like the fox, they can be found nationwide, except in the very northern parts. Lastly the 5 cent Hare, looks like a rabbit you say? Yes, but the Hare is larger and faster than a typical rabbit. Like the other two, the Hare can be found pretty much anywhere nationwide.
Canada’s dollar is known as the “Loonie”, worth $1 in Canadian funds, however seeing as our currency is weak, the Loonie is worth about 69 cents US — sad. From time to time, the mint will release a special Loonie depicting an event past or coming up. Back in 2010, the Winter Olympics were held in Vancouver, which gave way to issuing this Olympic coin, but still only worth a dollar though. Thanks for stopping by.

The drop of the Loonie below 0.70 cents reflected off the shocking deficit of $65 Billion which was well over the mind numbing $40 Billion boundary that the Liberal government promised not to cross.
An incompetent government, no fiscal restraint, and a looming 25% Tariff in a trade war.
We're screwed.
But I still got a bunch of shiny silver maple leaf coins 😁
Yeah, Canada is kind of a basket case. Trade in the worthless loonies for silver is a good plan.
I can sell both my silver and gold stacks back to my primary dealer for either CAD or USD if need be. VCBE's regular business is a currency exchange with bullion as a secondary product. I've asked if they planned to buy and sell Crypto currencies a few years ago since it seems to fit their business model but they said, "No."
I bet they give in eventually.
Wow sir you have really a great collection. Since when u are collecting all this ??
I've been a collector since I was a kid, more or less. Thanks.
A pretty nice collection and it seems like a lot of fun to start filling it with stuff like that.
Yeah, it is fun collecting.
Nice one 🦊
Thanks.
The skunk looks really cute, maybe it's just because it's a picture or because the stamp looks cool. Generally you wouldn't think cute animals can be deadly
Probably wouldn’t die from a skunk attack, but they would certainly release a very fowl odour/spray in your direction.
Coo collection, & that fox is lookin' foxy & hungry
Thanks bos.
I like the red fox and skunk stamps, very cute. The rabbit is nice but could have used more color to it. Nice dollar too, it's a shame that our currencies contain no silver except the Maple Leaf there and American Eagles here.
It sucks that the Loonie is so weak, hopefully more fiscally responsible people will finally take charge.
Nice collection, thanks for sharing it. I love your stamps, you can tell how old they are just by the way the artwork is printed. Very cool!
Yeah the rabbit stamp is sort of a dull grey colour, my least favourite of the 3.
I don't imagine the loonie strengthens at all with the inauguration of Trump today.
