Squirrel’s R Back
Look who I found! This little friendly squirrel, bouncing around these tree branches. I was able to fire off multiple photos, but only these two were worth saving, the rest were too blurry. Always a pleasure to come across these furry little animals, on the hiking trail. Even better when they stick around for a few pics — and they’re gone. I used to think that they hibernate for the winter, but it appears that they do not (some species do though). After doing some research, it looks like they spend most of their time in nests, which they build with significant insulation from the elements. Interesting. Thanks for stopping by.

A fun encounter it was.
Good!
This is a really cool catch, and it's really hard to get in our area.
It was pretty cool.
Squirrels are so cute, nice catch there!

HEHhe wow, look how animal is looking in the camera it's like saying cheeseee 😂
He was very cooperative, thanks for stopping by.
Hello! I remember the cartoon movie "Chipmunks" they are so cute. Are they harmless? Yes, I do and both photographs are amazing.
Pretty harmless as far as I know. Never have been "attacked" by one yet lol. Thanks for commenting.
They're always very cute no matter the angle or position you take the pictures from. I think they're there in all seasons, I don't know if there, but I think the species we gave over here and always present all seasons
I believe the “ground squirrels” tend to hibernate, but not the “tree squirrels”. But not expert on the subject. Thanks for dropping by.
I slightly disagree - position where you see only their big fluffy tail, is far less intresting than the front or side view, !BEER.

.Indeed, taking some pictures of him is quite difficult because he has sharp movements. Are there many wild animals in the forest?
Well, in any forest you will have wildlife. Around here I did see a bear, but not on the trail, luckily.
Squirrels are cute little things, and they're a lot fun to watch. Here in the parks people will feed them nuts so they are a little too bold at at times! I love the yellow brick road in the trail there, sure is pretty but would be really slippery if it were damp!
You are right, a little rain and its watch your step time. Trekking poles solves this problem. Thanks as always stopping by.
Such cute little creatures eh? They are all over in Canada even on Vancouver Island!
They are quite common throughout Canada for sure. Super cute eh!
That guy was ready for his close up. Eyes wide open

We have tons of them here in Canada!
Ah!! Great... I have so many in my garden, but small ones. They come together when I throw coconut shells out.
