Sinclair Canyon Decline

Right near the “V shaped” canyon (on yesterday’s post), is a trail which takes you down to the lower canyon and falls. So naturally I wanted to check this out. The hike downward was less than a kilometre or so (which was really quite appealing), and as it turned out, I was the only one on the trail — sweet! As the entire “hike” was basically a decline, temperatures dropped nicely which made this walk refreshing. It is amazing how temperatures can drop so much by just heading downward into the valley (temperatures above were in the mid 20’s Celsius). Thanks for stopping by.

Lot of fallen trees... It seems quite a typical mountain "not mainstream" river, pretty cool to pay a visit to it
It was a fun little down and back for about an hour or so. Definitely worth it.
it looks like there is a strong wind in that area in the third photo the tree on the right of the picture is broken in half
Likely not due to wind, as the trail is somewhat sheltered from the elements. Must be something else, I think.

I think the drop in temperature is majorly because of the trees and the fact that you're heading into a region with more trees and more water areas. Trees can keep the cold in, I think.

Yes, it was my first time going down to this canyon stream. Not a whole lot of sunlight available at the bottom either, which made it cooler.
Must've been amazing, and that low light didn't impact the quality of the images
