Next stop, Vista Lake. Located just up the road to the north from Marble Canyon, but is situated in the southern tip of Banff National Park. First thing that caught my attention after parking the vehicle were these beautiful red flowers with the cool turquoise blue lake backdrop. Score! Obviously the colour versions win out today, but I still can appreciate the black and whites ones. What do you think? So the hike down to the lake looks like it will not take too long, but we have to deal with elevation loss right out of the gate, which is unusual, but interesting.

Beautiful pictures, the turquoise blue of the lake is amazing a fascinating place without a doubt.

Oh wow the colours pop from those like how I remember them from visiting there years ago. Neat monomad ones too but that blue green glacier water needs to be in full colour!
Headed out there this summer so I will have to take a few shots to share too!
