Roam around Rundle

DSC00406.jpeg

When you are in a resort town and the weather is cool and windy, what do you do? Well roam around and take pictures right?! The natural thing to do — so I did. Mount Rundle is a staple here in the Bow valley, and over the years I have photographed it many a time, but never tire of it! Always consider it my favourite mountain in the Canadian Rockies. Truth be told, I worked at a hotel some time ago which gave me a close up view of Rundle, pretty much on a daily basis. I suppose you can get attached to a mountain, if that is possible! Thanks for stopping by.

Only option is to photograph it or climb it!

The last colored picture with the beautiful sunshine is the best for me, beautiful sight, the position or the angle of the shot just brings the scene to life. There's also this willingness to take pictures when you're in a great location

Lots of great photo ops in the bow valley here in Banff. Thanks as usual.

Today, the BnW shots captured my eye the most. It looks cold there already.

I shot these last November, so yes it was cold. July August is usually pretty warm though.

That mountain is HIYUGE! Especially if it still comes out of a photo looking like that. I've shot mountains many times and for whatever reason, my camera never appreciates the sheer size of what my eye beholds.
