Its Friday, May 8th and another week has gone by for the record books. Did you get a chance to do anything special this first week of May? The weather is finally starting to feel like May, after a few cold spells we had to deal with. Looks like the situation in the Strait of Hormuz remains complicated. If you listen to one news channel they say one thing, listen to another channel on another side of the world and they say something different again. Who to believe? Propaganda running wild. If only people could tell the truth?! That will never happen. Any Big plans for the weekend? Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

I could tell from the pictures that this was a very good hike. The shot from the trees, and the beautiful landscape as well. I can see that wood cabin, I find it thrilling that people would enjoy living alone in the wild
It would be fun wouldn't it? One would need to have all the skills necessary for that kind of lifestyle.

I love those wildlife shots! Very cute squirrel, and I guess that cow isn't really wildlife but still what a great background! My favorite is the last shot, where you focus on the new trees growing down from under the old burned trees above. Amazing how the forests regrow, albeit very slowly.
The Straight is going to be a problem as long as the Revolutionary Guard run Iran. It's that simple. The Iranian people have to rise up and remove them if they want to have a better place to live. But, it's the Middle East and you never know what's going to happen. News media is all political, they all have agendas these days. No one tells the absolute facts like they used to, it all has political spin. I really hate the modern news outlets...
