Random Friday

DSC09534.jpeg

It’s Friday February 20th, and we are well into the new year at this point! Time is a flyin by. Looks like the US is building up a huge presence in the Middle East at the moment, the biggest since the 1991 gulf war. Doesn’t look good for peace right now. What do you think about this military buildup? As technology and intelligence increase, one would think that war would be a thing of the past, a relic, but no, things are crazier than ever! Any Big plans for this weekend? Tell me about the week that was? Thanks for stopping by.

I've read this analysis which makes sense about the war on Iran

"📝 Anytime between 4:00 PM ET on Friday to 9:00 PM ET on Sunday is when the first USAF strikes will begin on Iran; admin believes that it will begin on Sunday once the USS Gerald R. Ford arrives, but everything is in place to have the attacks start earlier. Markets close at 4 PM on Friday, and it will become Monday morning in Iran at 9 PM Sunday Eastern Time.

One variable I haven't seen bought up is Donald Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday. Trump will want to talk about him striking Iran during this address. He will frame it as a major success and spin it as the pinnacle of his already interventionist foreign policy. This is a major reason Trump will strike before Tuesday specifically.

Also of note is the War Powers act being made by Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna, which seeks to prohibit attacks in Iran without Congressional approval. This will be introduced next week."

So it's possible a strike Sunday without a deal on nuclear...

We will be going to one of the last carnival event on Sunday!

I think technology didn't work much in changing human nature. Hopefully it doesn't go nuclear when this war breaks out. Weekend looks quite over here with good sunny weather!

Hopefully, but eventually a few nukes likely go live unfortunately. Have a great weekend.

Funny Campbell River has a shark emblem on the sign! lol Lot's of sharks I guess!

The falls are my favorite shot of the day, but they almost always win out. Waterfalls are cool!

War is inevitable, the problem is once you get rid of the jerks in charge of Iran then who's going to step in next? Some new dictator or a religious fanatic. It's a dangerous part of the world and always has been. The last thing the world needs is another war...

Probably meant to be a silhouette of a salmon lol

Another war, business as usual, nothing ever changes..

Looks like a mix of old and new tech, drones and tanks in one frame. Feels like a preview of what’s coming.
