Welcome to Random Friday. It is September the 12th and things are heating up down south; with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Now in all honesty, I was familiar with the name, but that was about all. I did not realize how popular he was with the university demographic. Many are saying that this will turn out to be a pivotal point with our neighbours down south. Time will tell. I hope people will be able to get along peacefully. Anyhow, tell me about your week. Over the weekends we will be heading to Vancouver Island, sad to leave this beautiful place, but will be visiting many other wonderful places;) How about yourself?

your line about wanting things to stay calm really landed. It’s been a long week, did some decluttering and finally fixed a squeaky door. Planning a quiet weekend with a walk, a little batch cooking, and and maybe a cheesy movie. Small wins feel extra good when the news is heavy, and your Random Friday note was a nice reset.
Unpredictable times just got more unpredictable, never would I have thought this to happen this week. Almost every week brings a new kind of news that just escalates things further. I hope things calm down fast
That is for sure. The news cycle is hard to keep up with.
