Pristine
What is the definition of Pristine? According to the dictionary, it is “remaining in a pure state” or “without human alteration”. Well that pretty much sums up this lake, and a lot of lakes in the Canadian Rockies - but not all. For example, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, (located in Banff Park) although absolutely gorgeous beyond belief, the shorelines are crawling with tourists and canoes or kayaks. What gorgeous water, nice and clear. That's the best thing about glacially fed lakes is just how beautiful they are. Pristine is a very apt metaphor. I love that first one in color, the water is just so pretty. Great job on those shots today!
