A couple of photos here from the Discovery Pier Fishing Lookout area, in Campbell river, Vancouver Island. Let’s go for a walk along the pier, maybe even grab an ice cream cone. That looks like a great pier for fishing. I wonder what there is the catch up there? There is a huge pier in Long Beach, California that is great for fishing. You just have to get there early to stake out the best spot!

I've been to Campbell river on Vancouver Island with a few friends many years ago on a week long visit of friends. I am familiar with the Salmon fishing industry working some summers on the commercial boats and that summer I got to experience the sport fishing aspect. Chartered a private for a few hours off a spot they called, "The hole."
Nice, would love to do something like that myself!
