Path to the Falls

Working our way along the trail to Elk Falls took us to several sets of walking bridges, boardwalks and steps. Very interesting and exciting, as it was our first time on this one. Often times I repeat the same hikes, but it is extra exciting when it is a “maiden hike”. With this one, we did no research in advance whatsoever. At one point even, I was unsure if we were headed in the right direction. We did finally make it to the falls after about two hours and a bit. Thanks for stopping by.

Man I like a good path. One that takes you somewhere you never have been, hopefully into the forest.
Sometimes even one to share with mud dog!
Always good to have man's best friend along!

Beautiful path, cool staircase design. If only the bushes had colorful flowers, the path would be even more stunning. Can't wait to see the beautiful waterfall.
A few more photos to go through, before we get to the waterfalls.
Nice path,is that place a forest?
Yes pretty much.
2 hours of walk, now that's pretty long, I'd think too I was lost 😂 but it's a good walk in the fresh and clean air
Love them walks, two hours is about perfect for me!
When were those pics taken by the way? A redditor asking 😄
Last July.

These pictures epitomize joy in the journey!
Indeed, it was a joyful journey!
It came through in the photos!
With that beautifully groomed trail I hope the falls was worth the effort! At least it had some great greenery to see along the way there. That really is a long hike to get to a falls pretty much anywhere! Can't wait to see the pictures!
It was an oddly fun trail, not usual though. The falls are quite cool, you will see.
