Nymph Falls Nature Park

DSC09229.jpeg

Welcome to day four of our trip to Vancouver Island. I did not have anything planned in advance for this particular day, so just kind of “winged it”. Nearby Courtney (where we were staying) was a park with a fall as it’s major attraction. I found out about this place after doing an AI search for top 5 attractions around Courtney. Located about 20 minutes away, I thought this would be something good to check out for the first half of the day. Put the coordinates into maps and away we went. Here are some of the first photos I captured that day. Thanks for stopping by.

This one is so strange, can you get in there and out? Looks big

Yep, using a search for best attractions in a place is something I do too!

It really caught my eye. Definitely could pitch a one man tent in there.

Very cool pictures, I love that giant tree with the bifurcation (or is a trifurcation?) That was a nice forest find there, and has some great photo opportunities. Lots of nice tree trunks and moss, those come out nice in mono!

Hmmm, I forget how it looked from the other side, so safe to call it a bifurcation I suppose! Thanks as usual.

I like black and white morew especially with all these shadows and tree textures. Great captures, tho.

Trees tend to go well with black and white photography. Thanks.
