Not Dog Lake

Just completed day two here in Kootenay Park, British Columbia. The weather here was phenomenal! Around 25°C give or take. The plan today was Dog Lake — kind of a funny name for a lake I must admit. The hike is a loop trail, which just touches the lake. Unfortunately there is not much of a shoreline to enjoy, but the lake itself is quite pretty. The hike takes approximately 2 hours to complete. For me though, it took about 3, as I am nursing a sore knee and of course taking a ton of photos. On the way back, I also hiked down to Sinclair Falls, which was a relatively quick out and back (30 minutes or so). Today I leave you with more Fall photos. Dog lake photos releasing in the coming months. Thanks for stopping by.

Dog lake, what a name lol, any reason?
I love the 3 yellow trees, them close and alone in the middle of green ones
I love how you captured the beauty of Kootenay Park and the Fall colors. Even with a sore knee, it looks like your hike was totally worth it. Can’t wait to see the Dog Lake photos when you share them.
I liked reading about your day in Kootenay Park. Dog Lake really does have a funny name, but it sounds like a nice place. Sorry to hear about your sore knee, but I guess it gave you more time to take photos.
I love the scenery of the place and how beautiful 😍 it is.
