Norbury Lake

This is Norbury Lake, a tiny lake located east of Cranbrook, otherwise known as East Kootenay. I was hoping to do a bit of hiking around here or at least a lakeside perimeter trail to follow, but no such luck, which was somewhat surprising. Thought we had found a trail, but it only went for about five minutes then virtually disappeared into nothing. A cute little lake, but that was about it! Should have grabbed one of those canoes and went for a joyride at least lol! Thanks for stopping by.

I like lake shores, lake is calm, not moving, you can just sit there in total silence

These are the only places where we forget the worries of our lives and are transported to a different world by seeing such beautiful views.

That is surprising that it didn't have a perimeter trail. Most smaller lakes have one carved out at some point. What a pretty place, a perfect place to go out on a kayak and drop in the fishing line! I'm glad you at least got a short five minute trail there, it's better than nothing I suppose.

Do you have any big weekend plans for this weekend? Sorry I've missed you the last few days, I've been a little under the weather. This not being 21 anymore has it's drawbacks!
