After a wonderful vacation in Vancouver Island, the next adventure would take us to East Kootenay, British Columbia (for the second time this year). I have relatives in the area, so coming here is always cheaper, and the scenery is spectacular! Never a bad idea to try and save a few bucks right?! Love the mountain shot!

I also find my perception of the tone change between the coloured and black and white versions of the cloud shot kind of hilarious, the coloured version I was mostly thinking OOH PRETTY COLOURS and in the black and white version I was thinking it looked more like a vortex and could be a book cover or title screen for some scifi or fantasy thing XD

Wow, beautiful. Some of the nighttime landscape photos look absolutely stunning; the island is truly beautiful. And some of the other black and white shots are absolutely gorgeous, and I absolutely love them.

Unbelievable shots, the photos from the SONY are unreal. I was trying to zoom in on the details, and realized that's a lot of quality there

Using the Sony more and more, and the smartphone less and less these days! But will start taking more video with the iPhone to upload to 3speak.

Heading east this time, with relatives things can always be less expensive! You must be getting excited. Beautiful shots you included, they kind of reminded me of a bit of the Organ Mountains outside of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Not sure why, but they did! lol

Agree! It's really fascinating that just by manipulating the colors could change the perspective of the photo.
