Mountaintop Manicured Trails
Here in Banff National Park, Alberta, we have some of the best manicured trails in Canada. I suppose it is kind of an expectation, while inside a park you have payed to enter. It does make such a difference compared to just hiking out in the wilderness. Along with the manicured trails comes good signage (mostly), letting one know where you are and which direction you ought to head in; this is important obviously. Throw in a bench to relax on every so often is also most welcome. One of my pet peeves is being out on a trail and not knowing whether you should take the left or the center, or the what…I suppose using the Alltrails app likely would solve this problem though. The wood on the Trailer, are they kept there to prevent the shrubs from overgrowing?
Just creates a barrier between the trail and shrubs yes, also guides hikers along as well.
The path looks perfectly manicured, golden grass lining the landscape. Beautiful colors, a graceful change of seasons. I love this one, it looks perfect.
It really was a perfect day and a perfect hike.
Those are beautiful trails, the big plus is since you don't have to bush whack your way through deer trails you don't pick up any ticks to bring home with you!
