Mountains, Forests & Rivers
Mountains, forests and rivers. Three of my favourite things; on display here at the intersection between the Kootenay and Cross rivers. It was a perfect day to explore the spectacular outdoors, here in East Kootenay, British Columbia. The beautiful turquoise water colour always adds a flare to the landscape! At the moment, we are planning a return trip to the same general area. Today’s post took us to the northern section of Nipika, and the next trip will take us to the eastern section — then I will compare to see which is better. Stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by.

If i was to judge as a photographer which I'm no I would say that the turquoise water really makes the landscape pop, that's what impressed me the most but the entire thing is a masterpiece
Well much appreciated. The water colour really does make it all worthwhile.

The view is amazing! 🌲🏔️ The color of the water is absolutely stunning, making me want to go there right away.
Everyone ought to have the opportunity to visit this place, at least once in their lifetime!
The first image really captured all three in perfect way! I wonder if there's a way through the forest to reach the mountain top?
I imagine there is, but will leave that for another time. Thanks for stopping by.
