Lower Falls of Bertha
(Edited)
On the way to Bertha Lake, Waterton Park, we ran into these very cool lower falls. A very unique cascading effect here to marvel at; super cool it was. We had intended to continue on to the lake, but temps were on the hot side, so we decided to just grab a quick picnic here and chill out. The journey to the lake and Upper falls will have to wait for our next trip out here. That next trip will likely be a solo trip, that way, all decisions will be up to yours truly. Thanks for stopping by.

That's pretty large! I can't blame you, that's a good place to sit and have a picnic, but I wonder, upper falls will be even better then? I like all that wild and savage places you can find there rather than cement and such
You would think right? Just looked up a video of the upper falls and it is much taller and wider than the lower falls. Looking forward to checking it out, hopefully this year if I have the time.
I love these both in color and black and white ... more strictly beautiful in color, but more awesome in black and white!
The colours really stand out in particular, I wasn't able to get the black and whites to where I wanted them.
I imagine in some color palettes that is harder than in other cases
Yes it is.

Thank you as always.
Hey @daveks friend! Today your artistic vision is even more than usual, that management of diagonal lines in the first three photos is delicious!!!... And in white and black they are cryptic and eloquent in a supreme way!... Big applause!

I can see a few people standing at the edge of the rock. It feels quite dangerous, especially since the height should be over 20 feet... Beautiful shots.
Well not that dangerous actually, they were at the bottom area. Thanks!
Real awesome power pictures
Thanks a lot bos.
I want to bathe in those waters!! Beautiful!!
That would be epic!
That's a pretty waterfall. I love the first two pictures! It looks like someone built some kind of wall there are some point, any idea why? What a gorgeous spot for a picnic!
All natural as far as I know!
