Look Up to the Trees

DSC08694.jpeg

Today I present to you some wonderful tree photography, against mostly blue skies. I did not capture these today, but instead I was out with the camera inside Waterton Park, Alberta. Hit two different hikes. First hike took me to Crandell Lake, and the second to Forum Falls, which is actually located in British Columbia. So the hike started in Alberta, touched into British Columbia and back again. What a thrilling day it was! Will be releasing the photos in a few months, as I am very far behind. Need sleep, must rest now! Thanks for stopping by.

I love that photos, it's amazing how tall that trees are compared to the others and how little leaves and branches they have, yet are still there healthy

They did certainly stick out, and I knew it was a good photo op.

This is the pov I mostly stay in when going for walks, always looking upwards! Beautiful captures with the strip clouds on the background :)

Nothing quite as beautiful as being in the forest! Those are some great shots! You must have been feeling ambitious to handle to hikes the same day, I hope they weren't both really long ones with huge elevation gains.

I was thinking last night about some of our old Army night hikes to practice your navigation by compass only. It was beautiful in the forest at night with all of the stars, the good old days. I'm not nearly tough enough to do that now! lol

No, they were shorter ones.

How long did you serve for?

Not everyone knows how to take pictures, and it takes a lot of time and effort to learn. You have taken these perfect pictures, and it has been a long time since you took pictures.

Apppreciate that. Couldn't have done it without using Lightroom to edit. A fantastic tool. Thanks.

My goodness that's one hell of a tall tree, I'm thankful trees can't walk, like we won't be able to live amongst the tall ones like this one
