Larix Lake

This is the biggest, and best lake out here at Sunshine Meadows, Banff Park. Although Banff Park is primarily located inside Alberta, technically this lake is outside the park, and inside British Columbia, just over the continental divide. It is literally just hundreds of feet over the border (and the same goes for Rock Isle, and Grizzly lake). Most people that come up here are not aware of this interesting fact, even myself, I did not know this. Always learning more and more about our national parks as time goes on! Thanks for stopping by.

Your photos, dear friend, have a special tranquility, especially that beautiful reflection of the mountains in the water. I feel like I was there! The nature of Canada truly amazes you. Thank you for sharing these pristine and calm moments with us.

It seems really pretty big from the pictures... And great reflections

They made the borders tricky 😅

I want to ask, how vast is this part by square meter or what's the proper measurement?
I see a vast area and most times, not a lot of people are in sight

It would be measured in square kilometres. Probably about 5-7 or so.

Hello! I am completely new to this platform. I really love the photos you have taken, especially the pictures of the lake. They are captured so beautifully that it feels like I have actually been there, enjoying the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the lake.
