Lakeside

Today I have for you a couple of photos from around the lake. It is always enjoyable when a hike takes you lakeside for some extra views (not to mention all the more likely bird sightings) In fact, I do gravitate toward hikes with lakes as the end goal or at least hikes with some presence of water or falls. Recently I was in Waterton park, and every single hike over three days took me to a lake or a waterfall! How about you and your outdoor preferences, do you also like to head to a lake or a water fall, or maybe it does not matter? Tell me about it below. Thanks for stopping by.

Three days in Waterton with a lake or waterfall on every hike sounds like my kind of trip. I tend to pick routes that end by a quiet lake because I love the stillness, but a good waterfall after a climb feels like a win. Do you have a favorite Waterton trail for falls, something not too crowded?
I have only been to Forum falls so far, however I heard Lineham Falls is quite nice. That will be next trip. Thanks for stopping by.
Lineham sounds perfect for the next round. I’ve heard it’s a steady climb with a big payoff, and it can be quieter than Bertha if you start early. When are you thinking to go, and do you prefer a longer day or a quick out and back?
I like when they bring me to waterfalls, I love waterfalls, show the strength of nature!
Last picture so tempting for a bath
Who doesn't love a nice waterfall right?
The first picture looks very beautiful, the clear lake blends beautifully with the thick clouds which creates a majestic and calming view.
The clouds did look a bit ferocious! Thanks for looking,
It's a lovely environment
Indeed it was.
Waterfall near me called Mahon Falls which we like climbing up the side of the
Nice, tag me so I can check out your pics.
It doesn't matter much bit I always prefer to end my walks around a large body of water, it's a great stop to settle and relax, for some time, before beginning the journey back home.
Water/lakes always make a hike more satisfying!
Yes yes, cherry on top type of situation in a food context :)
Awesome. We have lake also here in the city. I love lake especially when it is surrounded with majestic mountains like in the photos you took. Thanks for sharing. I love it so much.
What could be better than that right? Thanks for stopping by.
