Kootenay Marsh

Walking along the Kootenay river, we stumbled across this nifty little marsh area. As the river levels rise and fall throughout the year, these marsh areas tend to pop up here and there. Likely a few fish to found in this one, and a turtle or two. The river is typically at its highest around the May time frame, these photos were taken in August or when the river was on the decline. Heading back again in June, so we should see a higher river at that time. Hope you are having a good weekend, and thanks for stopping by.

Actually it has its fashion when the water is low... Turtles are a sort of always present animal 😂 expecially in ponds
