Kinnikinnick Trail

First things first, we went for an easy hike close to Cranbrook, East Kootenay. This area doubles as a cross country skiing mecca in the wintertime. Each branch of the trail has a different name, including “Kinnikinnick trail”. We spent a couple hours meandering around the trails, getting in some fresh mountain air and just having a grand ol time! I’m really starting to enjoy spending time in southern British Columbia, here in East Kootenay. Thanks for stopping by.

i can smell the fresh air just from the pictures!
Fresh as can be!
Thanks.
Majestic tall trees to behold all around, beautiful place to go for walks
Indeed, we had a blast.
What a gorgeous forest... I love pine trees, nothing like that perfect pine smell in the gentle wind as it blows through. It reminds me of my childhood up in Yellowstone with my family!
Awesome pictures, and a great adventure. I can tell you're ready for the next big outing!
Yes, currently in pre-planning mode. I have big plans for 2026!
Great lighting on the open trail sections.
