Kimberley “Ski” Resort
Have you ever skied at Kimberley Alpine resort in British Columbia? Well me neither, but I hiked to the top last June! Most go to a ski resort in the Winter because why wouldn’t you right? Me, I’d rather go there in the warmer months and hike up. So we did. It took about four hours roundtrip, up the right-hand side and down the backside and around. Weather was once again perfect (I sure love it when the weather cooperates!), couldn’t have asked for a better day. Here are the first few photos I took that day. Thanks for stopping by.

The weather is truly perfect for your hike to that spot. The presence of white clouds in the clear blue sky adds to the perfect atmosphere.

It's an incredibly beautiful area, the topography of the area means you can easily see a vast area of the land of you have a very good camera lens like you have.. Are those Gondola in the first picture?
Yes, typically the ski resorts keep the chair lifts/gondola up year round, but not always in operation.

Hiking a ski resort in June and ending up on top in four hours sounds like a better day than actually skiing it.
To me, hiking is just more fun and definitely a whole lot cheaper!
