Journey to Upper or Lower Rowe Lake?

As I hiked my way upward to Rowe Lakes, I was pondering whether or not go to the upper lake or just hit the lower lake. Wasn’t quite sure how much extra time it would cost me until I arrived at the signage. Looked like it would add another hour to the experience, so I decided to leave the upper lake for another day. Not sure if that was the right decision or not. In hindsight, I could have done it. Sometimes one ought to push yourself harder. Maybe I ought to do that more?! Thanks for stopping by.

That's a big question without seeing them... I'd always go to the most beautiful one, despite high or low
Yeah that would be a good plan. Will need to go again someday.
It was truly a beautiful place. Hopefully, your next visit will allow you to reach the upper lake. Stopping there doesn't mean giving up, but rather choosing to enjoy the moment with the energy and time you have.
Indeed, looking forward to the next attempt!

Thanks for the share..
Beautiful pictures as always. High mountains and pine trees.
Thank you. It was a wonderful hike.
Sometimes it's best not to overdue things, you probably made the right call. Of course it is fun to push those limits at times! What a beautiful path, is this one going to be repeated in the near future? It looks nice but a bit of a challenge!
Yes, next time I will go all the way to the upper lake 100%
