Ok
Something fulfilling about walking at the feet of such monsters. Love those big ass prehistoric trees. 🌳
That is for sure. You don't get these huge trees in Alberta.
Or Ontario
BC trees are the bomb

Walking among those tall trees reminds me of my walk in Munnar, South India. It was like a freedom of walk.
Nice, looks really enjoyable.
Yes, its a very long trail ending in a British built home in 1960's. Later this is been renovated by the local people who is the owner of cardamom plantations around there. This is the stop point. It is just surrounded by fruit producing plants, a short water fall, a small river. The vibe is just different in there.
Sounds like a place I'd like to visit!
Ya, sure. Most welcome. This is Munnar Hill station, a tourist destination in South India. You can google about the place.
Will do.
Oh tue fallen tree on the road is pretty nice, gives more a wild feeling!
It does yes, very cool to encounter that on the trail.
Walking along a path under a large tree always creates a calming atmosphere. The presence of ferns beside it makes feel even more immersed in nature. Spectacular images👍
Thank you, it really was a wonderful hike.
It really is amazing how many ferns live in that forest environment. I've always noticed them in shows filmed in Canada during their forest scenes! What a beautiful hike to the falls, and so well marked it would be hard to get lost!
Great pictures, I know the falls are coming up soon!
We reach the falls in tomorrow's post (finally). I guess the ferns were quite abundant on the island, I did notice that as well.
