Is it Fall Yet?
Is it Fall yet? Well, not exactly. Officially Fall begins sometime towards the end of September. Today however I have some photos from last Fall, showcasing some of the amazing colours that materialize at this time of year. Fall arguably is my favourite time of year to go hiking! Temperatures are usually a bit cooler — I like it. Fewer people out and about — awesome. Fewer bugs and mosquitoes — great news. Colour explosions galore — Wow. We had a cold front sweep through our area...in August!?
It has been a rather mild summer. I don't think we've hit triple digits once. Believe me when I say it has been a welcome relief. Not to say we haven't had some hot days, but overall it's been rather mild.
So, I suppose fall is coming a bit early this year. Fine by me because I have some very cozy and warm clothes I don't get to wear often. It'll be nice to bring them out to enjoy the cooler weather.
I'd take an early fall anytime, much prefer the cooler temps than the hot heat. Always easier to spend time outside in the Fall! Thanks for stopping by.

Definitely! The contrast on the leaves, where green gives way for yellow and other colours is one of the best features of Fall, I like observing this transition :)

Such beautiful aspens in those pictures! Fall is sneaking up one us pretty quickly, hard to believe summer is creeping to an end yet once again. I know you will be out there in force hiking while the weather allows for it, just don't forget that bear spray!
