Here are a few more pictures captured at frozen over Lake Minnewanka, Banff Park, Alberta. At some point, I felt like lacing up a pair of skates and going for a glide or two. I totally could have. However, for today, hiking is the more preferred activity! After all, the sun was providing just the right temperature for some ideal Spring hiking. I like the effect of the sun, it's not a clear and direct sun but blurry, gives a very nice touch on the photo!

The view was very beautiful, plus the sunlight shining softly on the ice made the view look magnificent.

The combo of this type of places are too good I love to see them, I wish I can spend my whole life viewing this type of scenes how beautiful our world is, and how humans hurt them. This is what I think sometimes.
If everybody could just get along, and treat nature as we ourselves would like to be treated.
The water seems to calm, and the weather is just so great. Perfect weather for hiking, although you'll have to sweat especially if the sun is hot.

What a pretty day you chose to be out there, I wonder if the ice is still thick enough for skating? The mountains and scenery are awesome, and that lake won't be frozen too much longer now that spring is kicking in. Great pictures!
