Hitting the Trails

DSC08530.jpeg

Part of any good hike is hitting the trails. The view from up top or the final destination is the highlight, but arguably, the trails leading up to the endpoint is where most of the fun lies. You know what they say: “It’s the journey, not the destination that counts”. As you can see in the first photo, it is not unusual to encounter a leaning or fallen tree. Sometimes one even has to choose to hop over or go under the “obstruction”. Or simply walk around if possible. Onward and upward. Don’t forget to enjoy your journey. Thanks for stopping by.

Exactly 💯 What matters and count is the journey itself and not really the destination.

Sometimes you just have to clear the way, this is nature telling you, slow down, stop and come down small. lols

Nice Shots!!💯💯

I agree with you, my friend. The most enjoyable part is the route. as shown in your picture, it's full of surprises that make the trip even more memorable. You could say that the route is the spice of the journey when heading to a desired destination.

Yes, I'd agree with that. Live in the moment, enjoy and continue the journey.

For me, it's the tall trees shouldering the trail path that really amazes me. I'd probably be looking more upwards than focusing on path itself. That also does counts as enjoying the journey, doesn't it :)

Absolutely yes. It's always amazing to be looking up, as much as possible anyways.

Indeed that the journey is where the most joyful part of experience lies. It is the process that gives us the experience not the reward. I adore people who values journey than the end because those are the kind of people who you want to be with when having an adventure. They are full of life and exciting decisions hahahhaa. Nice photography by the way. To more of this!🥳❤️

Sometimes I do need to remind myself to stop and appreciate the moments of the journey. Thank for looking.

I feel like the little challenges on the trail make the adventure memorable and keep things interesting. The journey really shapes the whole experience

🌲🥾 Love this! The trails hold their own magic — every twist, turn, and fallen tree makes the journey just as memorable as the destination. ✨🌿

What a pretty trial, I love walking among the pines. Fortunately it was a small obstruction to the path and not a huge tree! Gorgeous photos as always, they are always so peaceful and relaxing to see. I hope you're having a great weekend, I've been offline for a few days, but getting back to the grind this week!
