Foothills Squirrels

Whilst out on the hiking trail, in and around the foothills of Kananaskis country, we ran into this friendly little squirrel. He was kind enough to allow me to capture a few decent pics of him, before he had to leave to do more important things like hiding acorns and stuff like that! Hope you had a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

Ever since my childhood, I have seen squirrels as very cute and friendly animals. You have taken great photos there.
Those little guys are so adorable right? Thanks for looking.
The squirrel is also climbing and he always does that.
The food he brought looked really weird but he seemed to like it.
Just a typical acorn as far as I know.
Beautiful and brightful pictures ♥️👍, see how tall the trees over there are, I hope the little animal climbing on that tree is enjoying itself while leaning towards up direction. My dear I enjoyed my weekend, what about you?
On the road travelling this weekend and having a good time.
That's good 👍♥️.
What a beautiful shot! The nature is very beautiful and natural :)
Thank you. Love nature!
Yoi're welcome :)
Ohh sooo cute! Squirrels are always so cute, and it's not easy to photo them they are so fast
The shots are great as you caught him with a pine cone in his mouth!
I remember squillers at fuerteventura were so used to humans they would come pick up food from your hands
They are hard to photograph. I took about 7 photos, but only 2 were worth publishing. Thanks for stopping by.
Still looks cute even though there is a big snack in her mouth. I like her pose in the second picture.
So much fun to photograph these little guys. Saw another one today, but couldn't get any photos unfortunately.
The squirrel had to pose for a shot in the second picture.. I noticed the pictures were detailed and the subject separation was great, I knew you couldn't have taken it with the iPhone or the Huawei
Yes, would have been impossible. Sure glad I have this Sony camera!
It's always fun to find squirrels out in nature. There are a lot that live all around the neighborhood where I live, and there is a park not far away so they wander looking for free food. Great pictures, beautiful! How's Monday treating you so far?
Just got back from our first hike in BC, weather was perfect!! Will share a few of them pics tonight.
